Signed
An update is only installed if release.json is signed with an Apophis key (Ed25519) and size and SHA-256 match exactly.
No installer
The running apophis.exe is swapped during the update. Profiles, accounts and Minecraft stay untouched.
Your Minecraft
Apophis does not distribute Minecraft files. You play with your Microsoft account and your own copy.
